Welcome to the penultimate year of my professional musical life. As usual there is a nice scattering of performances and a ridiculous amount of repertoire...sigh. But I'm looking forward to every note of it.

Saturday 2 March    Christchurch Symphony Orchestra
This concert is part of the reopening celebrations at the Christchurch Town Hall which has been closed since the earthquakes. With Tony Chen Lin I'll play the Mozart  concerto for two pianos, a perfect work in every way. Go to cso.co.nz for more details.

Sunday 10 March    Recital in Nelson
This will be my first (and probably last) recital in the refurbished auditorium of the former Nelson School of Music, now the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts. Bach, Mozart and Chopin are on the programme.  Start time 3.30pm. Go to ncma.nz for details.

Saturday 16 March   House concert in Norsewood
I'll play a 1-hour programme of Bach, Mozart and Debussy. Just show up and pay at the door ($25).  Doors open at 7.30pm, concert starts at 8.00.  The Old Dairy Factory, 76 Hovding St., Norsewood.

Sunday 19 May    Waikanae Music Society
One of my favourite gigs, this time piano quartets with colleagues Martin Riseley, Andrew Thomson and Andrew Joyce. Brahms and Fauré.  Start time 2.30pm. Go to waikanaemusic.org.nz for details.

Monday 10 June    Recital at Expressions, Upper Hutt

Sunday 16 June    St Matthew's Chamber Orchestra

Thursday 19 September    Recital at The Hills
This is a sort-of house concert at the home of Sir Michael and Lady Christine Hill near Arrowtown, but it is open to the public. I'll post details of how to get tickets when I have them.

Saturday 21 September     Dunedin Symphony Orchestra
